I am an Ofsted registered Childminder with over 30 years' experience. My current Ofsted rating is 'Good' and I attend regular training sessions to keep myself up to date with changes in legislation regarding EYFS and safe-guarding issues. I am also qualified as a Nursery Nurse and have experience of being a Childminder Mentor, assisting new Childminders.
I live in a semi-detached house in Brimsdown, Enfield with my Husband and 3 children which has a large, dedicated playroom as well as a fully-secured garden for the children to play and explore in. It has easy access to local transport such as bus stations and Brimsdown railway station and is also next to Durants park where regular visits are made.
I have worked with a range of different children, including those with special needs. I work with qualified assistants, have no pets and have a strict no smoking policy. All children in my care are treated as individuals and are encouraged to reach their full potential.
My weekly learning activity plan covers the EYFS curriculum - and this includes all areas of child development.
I have a purpose-built, fully-resourced playroom and a fully-enclosed, safe and secure outdoor play area.
For Brimsdown School, Eastfield School, St James School, St Barnabas Pre-School, and Kingfisher Hall.
We visit the children's centre for play sessions, as well as the library, toddler group and Durants Park.
Our house has easy access to local transport such as bus routes, taxi services and Brimsdown Rail Station.
15 hours free entitlement for 2-4 year olds, all fees are negotiable and discounts are given for siblings.
